The Lorient

Spectrum Signs and United Properties worked together on The Lorient. Located in Edina, the Lorient is a mixed-use building featuring a unique boutique living experience on the upper floors and retail and restaurant space at ground level. 

The building’s sophisticated style called for distinctive signs both on the exterior and interior.

Following the architect's lead on preserving the neighborhood’s classic character, Spectrum Signs designed signs to complement the surroundings. A halo illuminated letter set was designed for the front entrance with a complementary lighted projected sign. Matching projected signs were created for retail or restaurant spaces. The poles were installed prior to the brick work being completed and then the flag portion of the sign was installed after. Parking entrance signs were also included.

We elevated the look of the interior signs using a matte black background with a European gold raised border and copy. Interior signage included directional, wayfinding, ADA, egress and city codes signs.
