Orchards of Minnetonka

Orchards of Minnetonka is an Ebenezer living community that offers senior apartment homes, assisted living and memory care. Opus Group was the developer for the building project and selected Spectrum Sign Systems to handle the full interior sign package.

Built in Minnetonka, this large senior living complex is four stories high and offers lots of amenities for residents such as a movie and game room, community rooms and lounges, clubroom, library and salon.

The Sign Needs

Spectrum Signs met with the Opus team to understand the needs of this big project. The project consisted of hundreds of signs for different rooms, event spaces and underground parking.

To add some creativity to the signs, we created a multi-layered interior sign template following the branding guidelines. Using the assigned PMS colors, we created a sign using a cool gray background with a green/gray leaf motif in the upper right corner. The motif was designed to bring nature into the buildings to match the Orchards of Minnetonka aesthetic.

Project management keeps the job on schedule
Because interior sign packages are usually the last thing installed before getting a certificate of occupancy, our project management team collaborated with the Opus team to understand the timelines of the other construction subcontractors. Our team created a detailed schedule to ensure everything would be completed in a timely manner.
