Kasson Mantorville Schools

When we first met with the team at Kasson-Mantorville, it was very clear that they live by their tagline, ‘Commitment to Excellence.’ They take a lot of pride in their newly designed facilities and the students and faculty that occupy them.

After that, we knew the standards would be high and we were very much looking forward to getting started.

Kasson-Mantorville’s Goals

Kasson-Mantorville School District was looking for directional signs and field markers to help visitors find their way to the high school, middle school, elementary school, community education and athletic facilities. We were tasked with creating a design that gave clear directions, was well thought-out, used quality materials and showed off the Kasson-Mantorville school spirit.

Site survey and design

After getting a clear understanding of their goals, we met onsite with the Kasson-Mantorville team to determine what the main destination points were on the campus. Together, we walked the site to determine the best paths to each location and identified points where visitors would be making decisions about where to go next. We also determined the best sign types for each location.

After primary destinations and placement were determined, we began designing the sign package. The main directional signs were designed with ‘Commitment to Excellence’ on the base and incorporated the Kasson-Mantorville Komet logo to highlight their school spirit. The signs were painted Komet blue with metallic silver to tie back to the building architecture.

We strive to provide every customer with an excellent experience and we delivered for Kasson-Mantorville. They were thrilled with how the signs turned out and the overall experience.
