InverPoint Business Park
We were contacted by the developer United Properties to provide sign solutions for a new multi-tenant business park that will eventually consist of 5 buildings in Inver Grove Heights, MN. This is an ongoing development as 3 of the 5 buildings are currently constructed.
Three main needs were established:
First, United Properties was looking for a way to landmark the development as well as provide opportunities for the tenants in the buildings to brand themselves.
Second, they needed strategic tenant directional sign design and placement to guide semis and delivery vehicles to their correct destinations and out of the common parking areas and tenant entrances.
Third, we were tasked with providing a turnkey proposal, which included mediating the city process, sign design, engineering, fabrication and installation.
The sign requirements included monument signs with development identification and tenant listings, directional signs and address numbers which also included building numbering.
After researching city codes to determine sign sizes, fabrication requirements and sign placement, and identifying shipping and receiving accesses, we were ready to begin our comprehensive sign solution.
The End Result?
Freestanding design concepts were developed using architectural building features and colors. The gateway monuments were placed strategically to guide trucks and traffic to entrance points.
The sign cabinets are aluminum and painted with polyurethane finish to ensure a long lasting finish. Signs are functional with the ability to change tenant panels in the future.
Directional sign sizes and placement were selected to insure visibility for large trucks, guiding them to shipping and receiving areas and preventing large trucks from the employee and visitor parking lots.
Dimensional address numbers with building numbering were installed at highly visible points on the buildings to help guide delivery trucks to the correct building.
