Ideal Credit Union and Spectrum Sign Systems have been partnering on projects for years. Ideal Credit Union went through a rebrand and called on Spectrum Signs to help implement the rebrand at each of its locations.
Spectrum Sign Systems met with them to understand their needs. The goals were to rebrand all locations and reuse as much of the existing sign structures as possible, and to create new signs for their new locations.
Rebranding Project
The new logo incorporated a subtle swoosh surrounding the logo and used two different vibrant blue PMS colors. Getting the colors right was very important to Ideal Credit Union so we worked with their marketing team and created mock ups until we got the color just right.
We also worked with the marketing team to use as much of the existing sign assets as we could. We were able to reuse the existing structures by refacing and repainting them, and we retrofit the lighted signs with new energy efficient LED lighting.
Branching Out to New Locations
At their new location, we’ve been working to ensure consistency between their existing and new branches. We’ve designed and installed illuminated 10 ft by 21 ft pylon signs, 8 ft by 7 ft monument signs and face illuminated letter sets to landmark their buildings. We also installed wayfinding signs to help their customers find the front entrance, ATMs and drive up windows.
Within the credit unions, we designed and installed a logo display for the front desk, ADA signage and door vinyl displaying their hours of operation.
Financial institutions have unique install requirements
Financial institutions have unique circumstances when it comes time for installation. People are constantly coming into the bank, using the ATMs and using the drive up windows. Shutting down a lane to an ATM or drive up window can really disrupt traffic flow. We worked out a plan that would cause the least amount of disruption for their customers and we notified the right internal people so they could let customers know in advance and answer any questions.
