We are delighted to welcome Polina Minina, our new Project Manager, to the Spectrum Signs team. Polina has recently joined us from outside the industry and has been actively engaging with customers and learning everything there is to know about the sign industry. With her background in customer service and keen attention to detail, we believe she will be a valuable asset to our team. Let's take a moment to get to know Polina better.
Here's a brief Q & A to learn more about Polina.
- Tell us a little about yourself.
I moved to Minnesota from Russia 5.5 years ago. I needed to start a new chapter of my life in a different country, away from the familiar routines and people around me. I had to make new friends, get used to local customs, and start a new career. After all this time, I can confidently say that I’ve never regretted my decision and am very glad I took such a leap of faith.
- What is your role at Spectrum Signs?
I started my career as a Project Manager at Spectrum two months ago. It’s a new and exciting stage in my life that I’ve worked towards for a long time, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity. As a Project Manager, I oversee project execution, cost calculations to ensure everything stays on track, and of course, make sure our clients are happy with the results.

- What skills are you bringing to the Project Management team?
I’m an organized and slightly anxious person, which is why I pay extra attention to each stage of a project. For me, it’s crucial to stay on top of even the smallest details, as those are what ultimately shape the entire project.
- What have you learned since entering a new industry?
I joined Spectrum without experience in the sign industry, but with a background in project management. I’m immensely grateful for this opportunity to learn something new. Did I know how many details and nuances are involved in each type of sign? No. Did I know how many stages need to be followed to reach the final result and thank our clients for their business with us? No. But was I excited about the opportunity to become a professional in the sign industry, helping to move our company towards success while assisting our clients in bringing their most creative ideas to life? Absolutely. I’m thankful to Spectrum and my colleagues for their support. I’m happy to be part of this team and contribute to our success.
- What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I play volleyball, and I proudly call myself a third-generation volleyball player in my family. I read a lot, currently I’m reading The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. I’m also learning to play the drums. Please don’t ask me to play anything just yet—I’m still learning! :) Additionally, I really love to travel. Even within Minnesota, I try to get out for small road trips to become a tourist in my favorite state.
- Thanks for taking the time to answer some questions, we're excited for you to join the team and can't wait to see what you'll accomplish!
