Sign Sales Representative - Minnesota

Position Summary:

Spectrum Sign Systems is a family owned, Minnesota based, premier sign contractor providing local and national customers with turn-key interior and exterior sign solutions.

We are looking for a professional sales leader who is a strong communicator, detail orientated and reliable. This individual will be responsible for lead generation and closing new business as well as maintaining existing accounts for businesses, developers and specific institutions such as hospitals, universities, etc. who are looking to increase their brand recognition.

Achieve Monthly Revenue Goal:

• Develop weekly activity goals and provide action follow-ups for generating new customers
• Actively manage short and long term leads from internal / external referral sources to qualify prospects and advance them through the sales process
• Manage the customer experience throughout the sales cycle while ensuring continued development of key accounts
• Work directly with customers on their goals and project expectations. Investigate and resolves customer’s problems / challenges / concerns / objections.
• Quarterback internal design, project management teams on solution models.
• Manage customers in CRM.

 

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent required, College degree preferred.
• 3+ years of business to business (B2B) sales experience preferred.
• Proven outside or field sales experience with a track record of hitting and/or exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to prospect and generate leads through a combination of web research, cold-calling and networking
• Ability to think independently and within a small team environment
• Experience working with city codes and electrical requirements a plus, but not required
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills
• Development and Training, working with an experienced team with a proven track record of success.

Compensation / Benefits:

• $60k Base Salary + Commission, medical insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, company event days, Simple IRA with 3% match.
