Spectrum Sign Systems Inc. and Venstar team up on new Vikings Parkway retail park sign.
Spectrum signed on with developer Venstar to create a large 40 foot long monument sign at 855 Vikings Parkway at the entrance to their new retail park. The 4 foot high radius sign has routed faces backed up with white acrylic which will illuminate at night.
The three cabinet sign features space for four 2 foot by 7 foot tenant signs on the left and right cabinets, and a middle cabinet sign exclaiming the address of 855 Vikings Parkway. The middle cabinet features translucent digital print on a flat white polycarbonate face. The lettering will look black on a white background during the day, but when illuminated the letters will glow white at night.
Another unique aspect of this sign is the sheer length and the fact that it is a radius sign. Spectrum worked closely with general contractor Shaw-Lundquist who built the concrete base for the sign. Once the base was finished, Spectrum field verified the radius before fabrication to be sure the sign and base matched perfectly.
Just like the Minnesota Vikings need teamwork to succeed as they prepare in their nearby TCO Performance Center, Spectrum Sign Systems Inc, developer Venstar, and general contractor Shaw-Lundquist demonstrated the importance of teamwork in completing this winning sign project.
