Park 81 is a distribution center located in Maple Grove, MN. This site was developed by Duke Realty to have quick and easy freeway access for the trucks to access the distribution center. We worked with Duke Realty on designing, fabricating and installing a full interior and exterior sign package for the building.
The outside
The size and scale of this distribution center required signage to play an integral part of the overall function of the facility.
The monument sign was designed using architectural elements from the building and installing non-illuminated aluminum letters on the sign. The blue vertical accent was built from aluminum and stands out from the gray background to give added dimension. The wall sign was built using the same non-illuminated aluminum letters as the monument.
While the monument and wall sign were the focal point of the project, we also provided:
- Associate entrance sign installed on canopy
- Custom address numbers with Duke logo
- Pedestrian crossing, handicap parking and do not enter signs in bollards
- Stop signs
- Directional signs
- Dock numbers
- Door vinyl
The inside
The interior of the building required an extensive sign package as well. With a distribution center like this it’s important for all rooms, aisles, assembly lines, door and dock doors to be labeled. We designed an interior room ID sign package for all offices and conference rooms as well as ADA signs for the restroom and prayer rooms.
